Setting Up Links

Links are essential for guiding readers through your site. from your homepage to your Books page, newsletter signup, or external retailer listings. Setting them up correctly ensures a smooth, professional experience for visitors.


How to Add Links

  1. Buttons:

    • Click on the button in your site editor.

    • Paste your destination URL into the link field (e.g., your Amazon book page or newsletter signup form).

    • Save your changes.

  2. Text Links:

    • Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.

    • Click the link icon in the text editor.

    • Enter the destination URL and apply the link.

  3. Image Links:

    • Select the image block in your site editor.

    • Add your destination URL in the image’s link field.

    • Save and test.


Tips for Effective Links

  • Always test your links on both desktop and mobile to make sure they open correctly.

  • Keep link text clear and direct (e.g., “Buy Now,” “Read on Amazon”) so readers know exactly where the link will take them.

  • Open external links in a new tab so visitors don’t accidentally leave your website.
